The “Battle of the Boroughs” sticker series was more than a design project—it became a phenomenon. I created five unique, circular “I Voted” stickers that visually celebrated each NYC borough through iconic landmarks and locally inspired color palettes. These weren’t generic—they were bold, borough-proud, and made to be shown off. The campaign drove citywide excitement, sparked viral social media sharing, and fueled the most successful final day of early voting in NYC history.
Results?
149,319 voters turned out on the final day of early voting—a record-breaking high.
59% of active registrants voted in the 2024 general election.
23% of them voted early.
All driven in part by design that resonated. The stickers weren’t just fun—they were strategic, a powerful nudge toward the polls. Award-winning creative, smart civic UX, and measurable impact: a clear example of how thoughtful, community-inspired design can directly support democracy.
