Introduction

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) came into force across the European Union on 25th May 2018 and introduced significant changes to data protection law. Its purpose is to improve privacy and security for the users of online services and websites or where personal data is stored and accessible through online mechanisms.
The GDPR aims to standardise data protection laws and processing across the EU; affording individuals stronger, more consistent rights to access and control their personal information.

Our Commitment

We have always had a robust and effective data protection programs in place which complies with existing law and abides by the data protection principles.

We are dedicated to safeguarding the personal information of all people we interact with, by developing a data protection regime that is effective, fit for purpose and demonstrates an understanding of, and appreciation for the GDPR regulation. Our preparation and objectives for GDPR compliance include the development and implementation of new data protection roles, policies, procedures, controls and measures to ensure maximum and ongoing compliance.

As a business operation, Teodesign needs to collect and use certain types of information about people with whom it deals in order to operate. Shall not be transferred to a country or territory outside the European Economic Area unless that country or territory ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects in relation to the processing of personal data.

Therefore, Teodesign will, through appropriate management, ensure strict application of criteria and controls:

Observe fully conditions regarding the fair collection and use of information
Meet its legal obligations to specify the purposes for which information is used
Collect and process appropriate information, and only to the extent that it is needed to fulfil operational needs or to comply with any legal requirements
Ensure the quality of information used
