This is what happened to us

Teodóra Frenyó’s work Bad Education won the main prize of this year’s ARC competition – it was revealed at yesterday’s press conference at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest.

The catchphrase and theme of this year’s 13th ARC competition and exhibition is: “What happened to us?” Each year in September, there’s the open-air billboard exhibition ARC (Hungarian for face) on the edge of City Park in Budapest. The 13th ARC well-being exhibition can be visited starting today at the Fifty-six Square. At the opening on September 6, the awards for the best works were presented at the Museum of Fine Arts. This year’s competition researched the causes of the past period and the current public mood.
